How to make Genie in Infinite Craft

How to make 🧞‍♂️ Genie — step by step

The cheapest known path. Craft each step in order — every ingredient is either a basic element or something you make earlier in this list.

1. 🌎 Earth + 💧 Water = 🌱 PlantBoth Earth and Water come straight from your starting elements — craft Plant first, everything else in this chain depends on it.
2. 🌱 Plant + 💨 Wind = 🌼 DandelionDandelion is a stepping stone — keep it in your inventory, later steps build directly on it.
3. 🌎 Earth + 💨 Wind = 🌫️ DustIf you already made Dust in an earlier session you can skip this one and move on.
4. 🌼 Dandelion + 🌫️ Dust = 🌠 WishOne quick craft for Wish: drag Dandelion onto Dust and keep the result for the chain.
5. 🌎 Earth + 🌠 Wish = 🧞‍♂️ GenieFinal craft: combine Earth and Wish to make Genie. That's the whole path — 5 crafts total.

Why this is the cheapest path to Genie

We rank every known recipe for Genie by total crafts from the four starting elements, not just by the final combination. The two direct ingredients — Earth and Wish — cost 0 and 4 crafts to build from scratch, which is why the whole chain above needs only 5 crafts. The alternatives in the table below are ranked the same way: their "approx. cost" is the pricier ingredient plus one, so you can see at a glance which route actually saves you crafts — and which ones quietly waste five.

What you build along the way

Every intermediate in this route earns its slot — here's the job each one does, and where else it's useful:

• Step 1 — 🌱 Plant: made from Earth + Water, costs 1 crafts if you build it standalone. It only exists here to unlock what comes next. Beyond this chain it also feeds 🌎 Earth and 🌎 Earth.
• Step 2 — 🌼 Dandelion: made from Plant + Wind, costs 2 crafts if you build it standalone. It only exists here to unlock what comes next. Beyond this chain it also feeds 🌎 Earth and 🌎 Earth.
• Step 3 — 🌫️ Dust: made from Earth + Wind, costs 1 crafts if you build it standalone. It only exists here to unlock what comes next. Beyond this chain it also feeds 🌎 Earth and 🌎 Earth.
• Step 4 — 🌠 Wish: made from Dandelion + Dust, costs 4 crafts if you build it standalone. It only exists here to unlock what comes next. Beyond this chain it also feeds 🌎 Earth and 🔥 Fire.

Any valid combo works — pick the ingredients you already have.

Main route vs the alternatives

The table above lists other recorded combinations, but here's the practical difference. The main path totals 5 crafts; the next best, 🔥 Fire + 🌠 Wish, runs about 5 crafts — essentially tied. A third option, Wish + Water, sits around 5 crafts. Pick an alternative only when you already hold one of its ingredients from earlier play — otherwise the main route is the cheapest way in.

Tips for crafting Genie

• Craft in one sitting. The 5-craft chain for Genie takes under two minutes once you know the route — the list above is already in dependency order, so just go top to bottom.
• Reuse your inventory. If you've played before you probably own the early intermediates (like Dandelion) already — skip straight to the first step you can't do.
• Missing an ingredient? Check the alternatives table — e.g. Fire + Wish also produces Genie if that route fits your inventory better.
